Brief

Oura is a health technology company whose smart ring tracks sleep, activity, heart rate, and recovery through continuous biometric sensing.

The opportunity was to explore four new product verticals: Family health monitoring for aging relatives, a longevity-focused gerontology experience, comparative heart health benchmarking for amateur athletes, and a collaborative men's fertility journey. Each extending the ring's existing data into deeply personal, underserved contexts.

An additional exploration imagined Oura through the lens of luxury collaboration, producing concept mockups for an Oura x Cartier partnership that preserved the product's health identity within a timeless high-fashion context.

A wearable's greatest untapped value isn't individual metrics, it's the relationships, life stages, and shared health journeys those metrics can quietly support.

Oura Care Circle

A concept feature for Oura Ring that lets amateur athletes compare their biometric profile — recovery, sleep, training load, and resilience — against elite professionals in their sport of choice, framing gaps as opportunities and tracking convergence over time.

Half of the fertility journey goes unmeasured, simply because the wearable was never pointed at it.

Men's Fertility & Partner Sync

A concept feature for Oura Ring that treats fertility as a two-person effort, pairing the lifestyle factors linked to male reproductive health (sleep, stress, recovery, temperature) with a partner's fertile window, so both people can see how their bodies are tracking toward a shared goal.

Details

The distance between an amateur and a professional isn't only visible on the field, it's written in how each body recovers, sleeps, and adapts.

A concept feature for Oura Ring that lets amateur athletes compare their biometric profile, including recovery, sleep, training load, and resilience, against elite professionals in their sport of choice, framing gaps as opportunities and tracking convergence over time.

What your data suggests
Consider a balance session today

Even 10 minutes of standing balance or gentle strength work is associated with meaningful fall risk reduction in your age group.

Annual Check-in

Have you had any falls or near-falls in the past 12 months?

This is a wellness tool, not a clinical falls assessment. Speak with your care team if you have concerns about your fall risk.

Consider discussing with your doctor

Recurring dips below 95% can sometimes be associated with breathing irregularities during sleep. A brief conversation with your care team may be worthwhile.
